Dr. Abdullah Almuttawa is a consultant colorectal and bariatric surgeon with extensive international training in advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgery. He completed fellowships in colorectal surgery and advanced MIS/robotic techniques at the Université de Montréal, as well as a fellowship in metabolic and bariatric surgery at IRCAD, Strasbourg. He holds an MBBS from King Abdulaziz University, an MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and an MSc in Surgical Science and Innovation from the Université de Strasbourg. Dr. Almuttawa currently serves as Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Jeddah and Consultant Surgeon in Jeddah. His clinical practice focuses on the use of robotic and laparoscopic approaches in the treatment of colorectal cancer, benign colorectal disorders, proctologic conditions, and obesity.
